ORIGINAL POST: 8/19/2021 - 1:30PM

Bloomington Township Public Water District was informed by the City of Bloomington that water service would be interrupted to the entire Crestwicke area beginning Monday August 23rd at 8:00 AM. Please plan for service to be interrupted all day.

BTPWD buys and redistributes water from the City of Bloomington. This service interruption is due to repairs the City of Bloomington needs to complete on a portion of their system that is upstream of the supply to BTPWD's Crestwicke Area (see a map of the effected area below).

Following resumption of service, your water may appear cloudy or discolored, but this should subside after 2 hours. Laundering may be resumed once the water has cleared.

Please understand that for your safety, until water quality samples confirm that the water is safe for consumption A BOIL ORDER WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 48 HOURS AFTER SERVICE HAS BEEN RESTORED.
