Jupiter Court Hydrant Replacement
August 22, 2024
UPDATE (8/29/2024 9:30am): Samples have passed from the lab and the boil order has been lifted. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked to maintain our water infrastructure.
UPDATE (8/27/2024 1pm): Work has been completed, we are currently waiting on samples to pass from the lab.
On Monday August 26, 2024 crews will be replacing the flushing hydrant at the end of the Jupiter Court Cul-de-sac in the Apollo Acres Subdivision.
Once the old hydrant is excavated, crews will need to shut off water to all residents on Jupiter court because there is not an isolation valve immediately before the hydrant. After the hydrant is replaced and an isolation valve added, water will be restored.
Customer's whose water was turned off during the work will be under a boil order until samples are verified by a certified lab to be safe. Sample testing will take a minimum of 24 hours from when the water was restored.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to maintain and improve the District's infrastructure.
